Due to a recent backend system update, some players have received a Name Change notification despite having an appropriate Riot ID. If this happened to you, check Changing Your Riot ID to see what you can do (like keeping your game name!) and can't do (like using the original server tagline, eg. NA1, EUW1, etc). And sorry for the inconvenience—some decade-old systems just won't modernize without a fight.

Changing Your Language on a Mobile Device

Changing Legends of Runeterra's displayed language on an Android or Apple mobile device is as easy as feeding poro snacks to a poro! Simply follow the steps below.

  1. Open Legends of Runeterra on your mobile device.
  2. On the Home page, tap the Gears icon in the upper right corner to open the Options window.
  3. The Options window opens to the General tab. Here, you can find the Language option.
  4. Use the Language drop down list to select your preferred language.
