Due to a recent backend system update, some players have received a Name Change notification despite having an appropriate Riot ID. If this happened to you, check Changing Your Riot ID to see what you can do (like keeping your game name!) and can't do (like using the original server tagline, eg. NA1, EUW1, etc). And sorry for the inconvenience—some decade-old systems just won't modernize without a fight.

Linking Your Riot Account to Twitch.TV

Are you ready to watch your favorite streamers having a blast in Runeterra? Of course you are! But what if I told you that watching streams of our games could get you cool stuff? Are you in?! Then it’s time to talk about linking your Riot Account to Twitch!

First off, it’s important to clarify that Twitch.TV and Twitch Prime are separate. A lot of our players may have already linked to Twitch Prime (which is awesome). However, some of the aforementioned cool stuff is only eligible for Twitch.TV, which allows everyone to reap the rewards, whether they have Prime or not.

By linking your Riot Account to Twitch.TV, you’ll also be able to earn neat rewards and even boost your beta odds for some of our future titles. If you want to get in on the fun, hop over to Twitch to link your account! All you'll need to do is find Riot Games and click Connect. Just follow the steps from there.

But what if I AM a streamer?

Then you're awesome! In the past, streamers have been able to drop access to some of our upcoming betas, so be sure to link your entitled Riot Account to Twitch.
