While there’s no maximum amount of fun you can have in LoR, there’s definitely a maximum number of cards you can have in your hand, or on the board, at a time. If you reach ten cards in your hand or six units on the board, any additional cards added to those locations will fizzle and vanish -- lost forever to the Void (probably).
