Shards: You gain Shards by earning rewards, just for playing the game! Shards are used to purchase wildcards in the shop.
Coins: You can only procure Coins by spending some real-world money (it’s a bit like alchemy). Coins can be used on wildcards and the Starter Bundle (for now). All random content is earned through rewards for playing the game.
