Let's Talk About Groups

Cards of a feather kick butt together.


Take a gander at the top of a Unit Card, and you might just see a word up there (like our fluffy Poro here). That’s an indication that this unit belongs to a group. Whether it’s an uncomfortable host of spiders or an elite force of Demacia’s finest, several cards interact specifically with groups. Creating synergy between the spells and units that buff, boost, and bring your cards together can often be the difference between victory and defeat. Check out all the groups below:

  • Ascended
  • Celestial
  • Cultist
  • Darkin
  • Dragon
  • Elite
  • Elnuk
  • Fae
  • Lurker
  • Mecha
  • Mecha-Yordle
    • Mecha-Yordle cards count as both Mecha and Yordle, and will receive bonuses related to both groups.
    • Example: a Mecha Yordle card can be buffed by a card that says Give all mecha +1|+1 and one that says Give all Yordles +1|+1!
